A belated thank you for enabling the recent meetings between the NSRDEC
Scientists/Engineers and the Japanese delegation from ANNA. I was skeptical
at first and prepared to drastically scale back the presentations but after
a few minutes it was clear that even without advanced information about the
technical subject matter you were keeping up well.
My wife is a certified court interpreter, Portuguese/English, so I am very
familiar with the difficulty of seamlessly switching between languages and
you made it look easy!
Again, thank you for your professionalism and proficiency.

Dear Maiyim,
Thanks very much for your excellent service and report.
This is exactly the type of professional performance I was hoping for when I reached out to you.
You have indeed exceeded my expectations.
Maiyim, you are the first person I will call for interpreting assignments in your area.
I hope we can work together again soon, on either an interpreting or translation project.
Maiyim, you have been very kind and great to work with. I very much appreciate your excellent service.
Very kind regards,
John

Dear Maiyim,
Yes, please use my comments however you like. Also, please count on me as a reference.
It is unusual when I place my faith in a first-time linguist and am so reassured throughout the process as I was with you.
Finally, Ms. Morikawa, in whom I have great trust, told me that you were both a very accomplished professional, as well as a kind and caring person.
I hope we can work together again very soon.
Best wishes,
John

Maiyim was an important part of my training sessions with my Japanese distributor, over three days. Her coordination with my constant barrage of information to the distributor was very impressive, allowing us to have a smooth transition from subject to subject without long delays.
She also did a good job before she arrived in her reviewing and understanding of our product and the key words we use.
I certainly would recommend her talents to those who need a Japanese interpreter. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by email or at the numbers below.

Maiyim Baron interpreted for us during an important meeting with a Japanese client at the INBOUND 2014 digital marketing conference in Boston in September.
Maiyim briefed herself for our meeting, and was prepared to discuss our technology in Japanese. She quickly put our Japanese client at ease. With her help we were able to make much more concrete and realistic plans to deliver the services they wanted. Our meeting was very productive thanks to her help, and we wholeheartedly recommend her services

I had the pleasure of working with Baron-san while assisting with the Sendai Recovery Project, repairing damage caused during the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. We were at a critical stage in the final acceptance of the project when our previous interpreter needed to take leave. Baron-san was able to travel to site and fill in for the three day period with less than 48 hour notice. That was quite an achievement in and of itself.
Baron-san was the epitome of professionalism and helped us, "gaijin", navigate the unique Japanese business environment. She very quickly came up to speed with technical terminology that spanned disciplines from electrical to civil to mechanical engineering to Information Technology. Baron-san excelled at handling all responsibilities requested always displaying appropriate tact and diplomacy. She was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the project succeeded.
In the future if ever given the need I or my company would most definitely secure Baron-san services, she was a pleasure to work with and get to know.

Re: Maiyim Baron
To whom it may concern:
I had the pleasure of observing Maiyim Baron at work as a Japanese courtroom interpreter in January 2015. I understand Japanese myself and was able discern that she had a high level of skill in interpreting in that fast-paced environment, which included testimony and argument from several different people, often overlapping. Maiyim had an immediate grasp of what was needed and appropriately provided professional interpreting services to all parties. I recommend her as Japanese-English interpreter and look forward to working with her again.
Sincerely,

You did such a great job on the last editing project: working with the translators (very diplomatically, I must say), ensuring consistency between sections, and also really taking charge of ensuring a high-quality final product with nice formatting and no omissions. Thank you!

Maiyim's knowledge of the Japanese language allows one to converse as if directly to the person. I believe having a native English speaker such as Maiyim translate is a great benefit to both sides of the conversation. She literally made my trip; I can't imagine doing a trip again to Japan without hiring her. She has deep understanding of Japanese culture as well rightfully earning high respect from the Japanese people.
January 19, 2010, Marshall was Maiyim's clientI too enjoyed the days we spent with Mr. S, the writer from the Yomiuri Shimbun Newspaper.
Your efforts clearly made his visit not only more productive, but more enjoyable as well."

I would like to thank you for a job well done yesterday. The visitors from Hino Motors a division of Toyota found your services most helpful. Your knowledge of the Japanese language made our meeting a success. When I first contracted your services I was worried about the technical nature of business being too difficult for you to handle. However, I was most impressed that you were able to grasp the technical terms and express them easily to the group.
Overall the meeting was a success thanks to your assistance. If we are ever in need of a Japanese interpreter again I will certainly not hesitate to contract your services again.

Subject: Recommendation
I highly recommend Maiyim Baron's Japanese interpreting service. We've worked with numerous interpreters for our WGBH educational video library series called Teaching Foreign Languages, and the Japanese classroom we taped when we had Maiyim Baron as an interpreter was one of our smoothest ever. She really caught on quickly to what we needed, and provided consistent, appropriate interpretation without a hitch throughout our taping.
We will be happy to use her services again.

I would like to thank you again for the fine job you did for us with the Japanese interpretation. I feel that we had a very beneficial meeting and was very pleased that you were able to translate our rubber industry specific terminology for meaningful discussion. You also helped to make the social time at dinner very enjoyable.
You certainly have a good understanding of their language and their culture and you used this very well to contribute to our successful business discussion.
Thanks again.

Thank you very much for providing wonderful Technical Japanese Interpretation on 24-hour notice for the F5 Networks technical training.
The students in the class were impressed with your ability to translate the complex content without prior knowledge of the topic. We received many comments about your outstanding ability.
I will be sure and inform F5 Networks' organizations of your wonderful interpretation skills.
